Diva Challenge #118

Good Afternoon everyone.

I have been trying to post since early this AM but was having trouble with my laptop. (Need a new AC adapter) I think I have it where it will hold for a bit so I can post. This week over at the Diva World we had another fun challenge!

Playing with my Big Shot is something I have come to really enjoy so I was extra happy when we had to use it this week.

Here is what I came up with. NO STAMPS!

For this card I wanted to make a little Spring scene that I could be used for any occasion. I like how it came up and am thinking of another project that will use these elements.

Why not play along and visit our Diva Blog and see what the other gals came up with!

As always thank you for stopping by!

Oh What a Rose....

That was really loved so much that I stamped it 50x ! This is the card front that I made the MEGA Swap I was in .. So if your wondering why I haven't used Fifth Avenue Floral this is why. I'm letting it rest a bit although I did use it for one of my classes which I will be posting later BUT I did not use the rose! lol..

This is a quick post as I am pretty busy today with personal things. I hope you have a wonderful and blessed day and as always thank you so much for stopping by!

Out of the Box &Blog Winner

Hello everyone :)
It is 65 degrees right now! GASP.. but its getting cloudy..BOOOO I haven't had a chance to go out yet but I will in a while as I will be going to church hopefully it will still be warm when I do go out there. Sorry I didn't post yesterday but if you visit my "Rambling blog" you'd know why! lol

So without delay the winner of my blog Candy is: PAM

So Pam if you would email me your addy @ ellie.augustin@hotmail.com I'll be sure to put your goodies in the mail for you.

Now for the Out of the Box part of my post.. These next 2 cards.. THEY ARE SOOOO Out of the Box for me.. You know when your just trying out things.. well thats what these were.. I wasn't going to post them but I said why not right?!

Ok for this first card don't laugh but I was watching that commerial for the Lotto-Take 5 "Little Bit of Luck" well it inspired me to do this as they are talking about having a little bit of luck and its a funny commerial... so I put them together and this is what I came up with.

Here is my little card :

It's almost a St.Patty's card too huh? I don't have any St.Patty stamps but have been seeing cards using hearts to make leaf clovers and so I used the smallest heart from my Heart to Heart punch and got my clover. The sentiment is from an oldie but goodie :Sweet Serendipity.

My next card I made because well at this time I can't purchase any new goodies but I do have stamps that have not seen loads of ink and this is one of those stamps I have that should get some love. Especially now that Spring is so close.

This card used Flight of the Butterfly. I think I've only used it once before! GASP right! lol.. I also used 2 colors I wouldn't have thought of putting together but if nature could why couldn't I.

Well I hope you had a wonderful day and are enjoying this Saturday as always thank you for stopping by!

Stamps: Sweet Serendipity,Flight of the Butterfly

Warm Thoughts

Hello everyone!

Hope everyone is keeping warm where they are here it continues to be BRRR cold here.. I can't wait for Spring! I can't say it enough!

For today I wanted to share with you a card I made for a special reason. Garrett's bday is coming up and I wanted to let his mother know that she(and their entire family) are in my heart and thoughts.

Sorry for that glare in the pic but its that I paper pieced the rose and clear embossed it. As well as the sentiment.

The clouds I did with the scallop circles (working on the video tutorial for them). I also decided to stamp the inside of the card to make it extra special.

I hope this card will let the family feel my love and my prayers for them.

Well as always I thank you for stopping by and be sure to stop by tomorrow as I will have my some Blog Candy along with my Diva Challenge for the week!

Stamps: Flores Suaves,Thoughts&Prayers
