In Honor of my Anjelique

Happy Wednesday everyone!

I am working hard and took a break to come and share something very near and dear to my heart. For those of you that also follow me on my "rambling" blog and even here most of you know I have a little girl in Heaven who passed of SIDS in 2006.
Since she passed I have tried to get the world out about SIDS and also each year have donated to an amazing and WONDERFUL Organization which really and truly helped me and so w/anything that I needed especially during the first couple of mths and they always make sure that they make it aware even now that they have me present and that means more then any words I could express.

So this year I have decided that from October 1st through October 15th any sales I make through Stampin Up I will donate 10% of it to First Candle . I chose October 15th because that it is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Day.

This page is very special and it was VERY hard to work on & share but I wanted to share for those of you who have not "meet" our Anjie before :

Thank you to my friends who love and give some much support to me. I will never be able to express what you all mean to me! Now let me shake off those few little tears that I just shed.. lol.. and on to some inky Fun! Make sure to stop by tomorrow as I am going to be doing something REALLY FUN!
As always thank you so much for stopping by!

Thank You.......

I was just thinking and saying to myself wow how time has flown and how much fun and all I've learned and have been blessed to be able to do this past year. In my blessings I count being a Stampin Up Demonstrator as one of them. I think of all the people I have come across this year that I have meet or have been able to teach them something they never though would think they would enjoy.

As I sit here with my table full of fun projects I had to come and post and say Thank you. Yes to all of you because even if you just pop by and see what I am up to or are one of my amazing customers I know I wouldn't be a demo w/out any of you. I think of my amazing Demo Sisters who help encourage me everyday and make me think that this beautiful dream that I have of making my business grow will and is coming true.

I think of those of you that might be on the fence about truly finding out about what Stampin Up is really about in the business sense well in one word I could sum it up : Family.

That is what Stampin Up for me. I remember almost 2 years ago (Feb. I will be a demo 2 years) I had NOT ONE clue what so ever what Stampin Up was. Did you know the first time I actually got to handle Stampin Up cardstock was when I got my starter kit! YES.. I remember opening that package and saying WOW... this feels soo amazing... I still giggle when I grab a piece of Whisper White Cardstock! I never thought that I could make anything of being a demo when I did get my starter kit it was more because I wanted to give stamping a try and thought getting the kit was the most economical way to do it. WELL little did I know it was going to be the start of a true love affair!

So as I sit here taking pictures of all my samples for my upcoming classes as well as projects for the Blog (October is gonna be so much fun!) I wanted to share w/you my Top Ten Reasons I love to be a Demonstrator

10. Always Able to Learn something new Everyday

9. Being my own Boss.

8. Attending Exclusive Regional and Convention for SU Demos!

7. Meeting New People that share what I love.

6. Working the hours I want.

5. Being able to have Parties/Classes and fun as part of my job.

4. Being able to teach someone or introduce them to something they never thought they could do

3. Earn cash (BIG SMILE on my hubby's face! lol)

2. Feeling the Support of a Wonderful Company and gaining amazing friendships.

1. Loving EVERY moment of what I do! Nothing makes me more happy and proud then to always say IT ROCKS TO BE A DEMO!!

Maybe my list could help you and say Ellie maybe this is something that I would be interested in. I am always available so if you might have any questions just send me an email and I'll be more then happy to help answer your questions.

So I think with all my rambling you guys deserve a little peek of one of my upcoming classes in December (taking pictures backwards lol)

Well as always thank you so much for stopping by and one more thing Yesterday I was blessed to become an auntie again to a beautiful baby boy and today is another amazing day as its my oldest son's 11th bday. I'll tell you can't get this Happy grin off my face! Have a wonderful day everyone!

Peaceful Delight

Hello everyone!

Sorry I hadn't posted for a couple of days but I've had my inky hands full. Working on swaps which I am so happy to say should be arriving at their destination tomorrow!

As well as designing my Shoe Box Swap card for this coming Saturday which I am SUPER excited about because its an all Demo swap being hosted by the Dawn R. who happens to be the Stampin Up Demo of the year! HOW FUN is that gonna be. I also get to hangout w/ my downline so it should be so much fun!!! I CAN NOT WAIT!

So in between my full plate I got to sit down and watercolor a bit which always helps me calm down and relax a bit. For my cards I used the Hostess Level 1 set-Country Morning. To tell you truth when I saw this set I said really now what the heck am I gonna do w/that ? Quickly my stamping brain said hmm hello watercolor and so that's just what I did!
Here is my first of 2 cards I made :

So do you see the background on the cardstock.. I AM IN LOVE with it.. That is actually a jumbo wheel stamp-Textured love how it makes the cardstock look. I used Versa Mark to stamp with.
That was one of the techniques I taught at my class last Wednesday (I have to share those pics w/you. What a blast that was!)

For the frame around the stamped image I just took my ruler and a marker and made my frame and then added a couple of doodles w/my gel pen and there you go! A simple but sweet card don't you think?

Here is my 2nd card I made:

This card I used the Textured Jumbo Wheel stamp as well but to make the card itself I used my Scallop Square Bigz Clear Die to make the card. I love it soo much I see loads of cards this shape in my near future! lol Also see that bow on my card isn't it beautiful it actually was on one of my goodies I won at the meet and greet for the Stampin Addicts! lol it was so pretty I had to reuse it and isn't this the perfect place to put it!

As always I thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful evening I am off to see if I could finish a couple of things before heading off America's Best Dance Crew .

Meet Halle Beary

Yes you read right.. Your about to meet Halle Beary.. I know what your thinking hmmm Ellie How do you know Halle Beary and that's not even how you spell her name...
Ha... Well guess what I REALLY DO... being I created her...Ha.. No Not like a Weird Science kind of way! (such an 80's kid was me! LOL)

BUT this is Halle Beary created with the Build a Bear Stampin Up Dies available in the Holiday Mini. I was having so much fun doing this card that my husband came into my stamp room and said who are you having a party with...and that's when I said Halle Beary! hehehehe....

OK Blogging Friends Meet Halle Beary :

Ha.. isn't she the FREAKING CUTEST EVER!! See why I was giggling away... and wait till I tell you all I did with her....

Here is a close up so you can see the details :

(click the pic to view bigger)

So can you see her skirt its all shimmery because I used our new Shimmer paint in Champagne to give her some bling!
. Gel Pen was used to give her some pearls and the stitching around her jacket. Her Sapphire earring are with a Rich Razzleberry marker.
Then as you can see her jacket it got textured with the Perfect Details Texturz Plates. Her Shoes were actually embossed to give them a shine! (that's why there is reflection). For her little hair ornament I had to add some bling since she already has "pearls" and her Sapphire earring
The Background Designer Paper I used for this card was Bella Bieu I thnk it was perfect for her since she is dressed so cute and ready to hit the stores to shop for more outfits!
So as I leave you with Halle sending you some love (punched them out with heart to heart punch) I hope you enjoyed her and wait till I show you what else I have been up too. Don't be shy leave a comment and tell me what do you think of Ms. Beary. Also if you would be intersted in a Holiday Mini Catalog just email me and I will be more then happy to send you one.
As always thank you so much for stopping by!

Back to School Teacher Gifts

Hello again everyone

Well as I said I am back today to share one of the projects I was working on yesterday I tagged it for my Squeeze it Saturday because well I did finish it yesterday just didn't have enough light to take pictures for it!

So while I was at Convention this summer we had a Meet & Greet for Stampinaddicts. It was such an amazing and fun event I can NOT wait and hope I am blessed enough to go again next year because it was so much fun.

There was swapping and eating and laughing and prizes and too much fun! I won (well I think everyone won something!) You got to go to the goodie table and pick from all these amazing goodies... can you image standing in front of a table full of goodies and YOU have to pick 1 thing? Well it was hard but for me since I have a thing for pens and pads (I know I'm such a geek! lol) I choose this :

It also included a matching pen and let me tell you I love it to pieces and when I got home I said OH I have to make this as inside is a pad (its 4x6) then I said OH my gosh who made this for me! So I went on a mission to find out who it was! Finally one of my SA Sistahs -Kim came through and told me who it was! lol

Then I was another mission to find those pads I went to every store you could think of but nobody had them as these are blank pads with no lines which is really what made me love it since I am forever doodling and this is perfect.

Well finally another of my SA Sistahs-Paula said OH Ellie I have some of those in my stash.. DO MY SA SISTAHS Rock or what???

THAT is how I was able to create these gifts for the boys teachers.. Did I lose you already with my long story for this little project!

OK well I think I've rambled enough you want to see what I made?? lol

*the reflection you see is that I put the cards and pads inside a clear box*

As you can see that not only did I make the pads for them but I am also including a set of cards for them to use. For the stamping I used 2 techniques to color the flowers on the cards.

I took out my Stampin Up Water color pencils and as I sat there coloring away (I also used my blender pen) I said WHY have I not used these pencils again in such a long time??? For the pads I decided for the main images to use watercolor paper and use my Stampin Up markers to color along with my aqua pen & then after I did that I decided to use my Versa Pen and emboss it.

As far as the stamps I used I went for Flores Suaves which is so beautiful I used it to stamp a background on the covers and did so with Versamark. For the cards I used Fifth Avenue Floral. The sentiment is from Dream Du Jour .

Actually you know what I am going to see if I make a video hopefully this week which I think will get easier for me to start to do again as my boys will be in school and the house will be quiet and will have a window to do so when my little Sassy takes a nap!

I think I have over extended this post but just had to share all the details with you!

Also I wanted to let my local customers know that I will be attending a Crop in November 7th and have been asked to me the Guest Stampin Up demonstrator at the event. I will be sharing an awesome project that I hope everyone will love. I am working on the sample and will share sneak peeks on what it is so you can say Ellie I am coming!

There are only 30 spots open and as I have heard 13 already are filled! Its gonna be a 12 hr. crop for ONLY $35.00 if you can't wait till I post more info just email me and I'll let you know about the rest of the info so you could register before all the spots are taken!

If you go you'll get to see me in my Bday Tiara cause the 14th is my Bday and I will start my celebrating with that crop. Well as always thank you so much for stopping by enjoy your Sunday!

Scrapbookmama LIVES!!!!

Hello everyone!

I am over the moon right now because I have been playing with "My Digtal Studio" which is SO AMAZING and so awesome... So whats up with my Title post.. well before I even knew there was Stampin Up for that matter Stamps I started out in the paper craft world as a scrapbooker and well I did it for my kids and since all my albums were about them that is how that name came along and I became Scrapbookmama.... THEN 2 years ago something happen I fell in love.. with Stampin Up which made me turn to stamping something I NEVER EVER thought was me nor was I interested in.. The though of making a card made me shake.... well time passed and the tables were turned I left behind the scrapbooking for the most part and would only do a page or 2 ever 3-4 mths!

ENTER My Digital Studio and I hear a chorus sing a beautiful song for me!! As I know this is my way to come back to something that I loved so much and make it way easier. When I would scrapbook oh I would take over the whole room displaying all the "materials" I would need and it would HAVE to stay as is for weeks until I would finish an album !

NOT ANYMORE.. because I will be creating my own "room" right in my computer while I create beautiful pages that I will be able to send to print or print right here at home! YEAHHHHH SCORE!!

So with no further delay Here is my first scrapbook page in my new Adventures into the Digital World :

Now tell me How bad do you want to get this??? I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEEE THIS!!! I am off to make a couple of cards creating MDS.. yes you can do that too and everything you will use including the stamped image will be true to size including the embellishments.

Image the fun of adding "real" embellishments on top of what ever you created on your printed pages. TOO MUCH FUN I TELL YOU!

Also don't forget to take a look at my Newsletter Blog as I've posted all my classes for the rest of the year and can't wait to see you there! As always thank you so much for stopping by!

Hope you enjoyed this card and will see you during my Halloween class on the 18th of this Month. Also don't forget that is the day I pick my winner for that cutie Stampin Up Build a Bear

Challenge Day!

Hello everyone!

For today I will be sharing a couple of projects that I set myself to do today to get into the week with a good Mojo Run. So lets get started shall we!

This little gift was inspired by Andrea as last week she had a simpler project posted. I went to make one but decided to change a couple of things. I decided I would make this a little project for a little girl so that she could have coloring.

Here is what I came up with :

As you can see instead of a gift card I made a little pad with stamped images to be colored. I didn't have the small open envelopes so I made my own pouch. I used cardstock and folded it followed her directions on how to make the little opening.

To complete the little gift I took a clear envelope and added some crayons and Gift ready to go! :)

Hope you enjoyed this little gift and will give it a try!

Cardstock: Pink Passion,Crushed Curry,Whisper White,Pretty in Pink

Beary Sweet Girl

Hello everyone!

I am super happy as for reasons beyond me my computer is up and running! I am sooo happy because I will be able to share what I have been working on these past days! :)

Here is a cute little card I made using one of the new sets from the Mini Catalog- Beary Best Friends.

Since I had made a little project with the boy bear its only fair I used the cutie girl bear!

Here is what I made :

I decided that she also needed to have a paper pieced dress! Don't you love that dress? that is a pattern from the Pawsitively Prints DSP and then I used some of my very hoarded other DSP-Pink Flamingo(YUMO) to use as the background.

Here is a close up of her little self :

For my Little Hello I used my Big shot and my Naturally Serif Alphabet to set up the sweet Hello. Wouldn't this be a cute card to give to a sweet little girl? I prob. will make a couple more for the girls in my youngest class with a little treat as a welcome back to school gift?

What do you think? Well I have so much to catch up on here and so much stamping to do.. I am super giddy right now.. I hope to be back later today with something else! Feeling a Trio set of cards coming on so stay tuned!
