Diva Challenge #123

Good AM everyone!

Today is an amazing and wonderful day NOT only is it Diva Challenge Day, AND later today I will be posting who won my Blog Candy BUT today is an awesome day because Registration for Stampin Up Convention 2009 is Open and I am ready to go!! I am so excited! I can not wait to meet all my Demo sisters who I have grown to love over this year and all that I have learned form them I can not wait to tell them in person. As I always say "It Rocks To Be A Demo!"

I really had fun this week putting this card together.. sorry for it being a bit dark but I couldn't catch any good light as its cloudy as can be. Easter Blessing to All!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful and blessed Easter. We just got back from Church and soon will be heading out to our Annual Family Easter dinner which is always to so much fun as the kids have an Easter Egg hunt and games I love it. Not to mention all the yummy food too.. YUMO!

I wanted to share a couple of cards that I did for Sherrill I must say this is another set that is really fun to work with I call it the cousin to my fav. set-Branch out.. This one is called Bird on a Branch.

Diva Challenge #122

Good AM everyone,

Sorry for the delay for me posting this. I thought I had it all figured out on how to set my posts but I guess I still have to work on it! Without any further delay here is our challenge for this week!



For this challenge I made a simple card that I am actually making in different colors. This is another great way to use those extra pieces of cardstock or designer paper you have left over.


After you have checked out my card make sure you visit the Diva Blog and take a look at the other creations from the other Divas!




Here I used the my Sizzlits die-Daisy Flower. I had gotten a while back and hadn't gotten a chance to use it. It really is a fun way to make a simple card pop. I used some left over designer paper from Urban Oasis (LOVE that collection) and used some rub ons and here is my simple from the heart card.

Re-Return of ShowCase Monday

Hello everyone!

Hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend. I have been very busy stamping away and as I did I decided that I should make a couple of cards for Showcase Monday. This time around I am not showcasing stamps but actually punches!

If you know me you know I have a thing for circles be it stamped dots,circle cards and of course my circle punches.

Here is my first card I actually didn't even stamp I used designer paper from the "Pink Flamingo" collection. I used my 1 1/4 circle punch to get 4 circles then my 1 3/8 punch to get my Whisper White circles. Used a yumo Chocolate Chip card base and pulled out my Scrap folder and thats where I got my Tangerine Tango piece of cardstock and matted that one Whisper White and to add a little extra punch I used some Kraft Taffeta Ribbon.

I really like this sketch of this card because it can be used for any occasion and I think its really a wonderful way to create something pretty with little material and you can use your scraps up too.

Now on to my 2nd card today. This one I did use a stamp set BUT actually I don't have this set but one of my Stampin'addict (coolest site EVER) sisters who RAK'd had sent me some of the cute little images from Forest Friends that is now available from the Occasion Mini. (working on some other cards WAIT till you see SOOO CUTE! lol) I had to use that so sweet little owl for a card.

Another thing I love is Kraft Cardstock I CAN NOT get enough.I love how you can dress it up dress it down what ever you want you can get with Kraft cardstock. Here I used both my circle punches (1 1/4,1 3/8) but I also used my scallop punch to add the last touch for the sweet owl. I pierced the flower and added my little image used Baja Breeze and paper pierced it and matted it on Chocolate Chip. Then using Kiwi Kiss I created the little border for the bottom of the card with my scallop border punch. To bring together the Kraft and Kiwi Kiss cardstock I used my Satin Kiwi Kiss/Very Vanilla ribbon. Let me tell you to get that little bow just so well it took a while! but I do love how it turned out.
