Playing Along

Happy Sunday or shall I say Happy Superbowl Sunday everyone!
Its a mini mad house here as my hubby is having his friends over for the game and well I will be hiding in my stamp cave and bedroom not a football gal really but happy to see the boys so excited today!

Well as for me I decided to play with CPS this week because I really liked this sketch its simple enough that it can be used in lots of ways I added it to my little sketch book so I can refer to it on a latter day here is CPS# 153

Isn't sweet? Talking about sweet this coming weekend it shall be Valentine's Day so my card's colors were inspired by that. This is my little card :

I wanted to keep it clean and simple. I really love how the flower(flower layers Die) came out. I used my crimper and then crunched it more for a softer effect. The Velum I ran only the bottom part so I could use my Dots folder. To hold it since you can see adhesive when you use it I decided to hold it w/some brads was going to do all 4 corners but liked this look better. What do you think? Of course I had to use some Real Red being its a Love card and all. Well I hope you enjoyed and thank you as always for stopping by!

Funny Valentine

Happy Friday my dear friends!

Well as I wait for my lunch to arrive (having Chinese takeout) I decided to get Inky w/Nicole who challenged everyone to do one of my fav. technique- Emboss Resist and since I was feeling under the weather on Tuesday to share then what a perfect way to make it up!

This card will actually be for my oldest son for Valentine's Day. He's my little artist. He actually love this technique as well so I think he will like it.

I used some bold colors don't you think but I really like how they work. I used Rich Razzleberry mixed w/Not Quite so Navy. The base stamp is the Jumbo Wheel-Very Vintage and the embossed image was the Medallion Background and the sentiment is a rub-on from Chat room and a half pearl from the Prettiest kit to finish it off. See its a Funny Valentine!

Well I hear my door bell and that means time for lunch. So hope you enjoy your day and as always thank you for stopping by!

Birthday Valentine

Hello everyone!

For today's Daily Challenge I wanted to share a card I made for a dear friend who's Bday is coming up its really close to Valentine's Day so I came up with a card to fit her perfectly.

This card actually has some fun elements. I used the Satin ribbon to make the ribbon rose as well as some of the half pearls from the prettiest kit. Now lets talk about that background. Do you love it. I DO! I can hear you say it now "Ellie but you love all things SU YES " this is true but this is really fun. That background actually came on our Clear Printed Window Sheets. The collection I used was from the Seasonal Pieces which you get (2) 12x12 sheets of some amazing images to play with.
Well I have to work on some Valentine goodies for my youngest son's class. I have an idea of what do now I have do the test run for it!
As always thank you for stopping by. I am also working on setting up some fun set up for next week because on 2/12 it will be my 2nd year Anniversary being a Demo! So of course we have to celebrate.

How about a Class By Mail?

Happy Saturday Everyone!

For the last couple of months when I have run a couple of my classes I have had emails asking if I would do a kit for it because either some live to far to attend or some can't make it when I am doing the class. For this reason I have decided to give it a try and start up myMonthly Class Kits once more. I will do 2 kits a month depending on how this month goes.

For these kits I will include all the material that are needed to complete the class (minus the stamped images) . For my first Kit I will be sharing my Cupid Class that will be taught on February 3rd and 6th.
In the class we will make 10 (4x4 cards). You will have 5 different designs and will make 2 of each. This class is $12.00.

For those of you that could not attend but would like a kit it would be $18.00 which includes materials,PDF of class and priority shipping to you. (I will be mailing in the Unites States just to make things easier & fastest shipping)

So would you like to see a peek of 2 of the cards in this class?

If you are interested in this class all you have to do click here

Shipping of these Kits will be on the 7th of February.

As always I thank you so much for stopping by! Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Less then 10 Min. Card and Winners!

Happy Friday everyone!

Hope everyone is enjoying their day. I have had a busy day. I sent out the last of my past orders. Placed new orders. Worked on samples for my February classes. Plus included my domestic/mama duties.

So after having a full day I had to reward myself w/a little stamping right? Well one of the comments suggested I do some 10 mins. or less cards. So I took the challenge. This card I like so much (and the set) that I feel I will be making a few more because it was so easy it took me WAY less then 10 minutes to complete it. I used Happy Moments which is FREE when you place a $50.00 (before s/h) I also used a go to of mine. Teeny Tiny Wishes. Anything you want to say that set has it. So I guess you want to see what I am rambling about huh?

See short and sweet and to the point. All I did was mat my stamped image on Very Vanilla. (for the score line border I just used my bone folder to go around w/my paper cutter) Are you wondering how I got the birdie colored well w/my Stampin Up Markers. Seriously for me purchasing them has been a wonderful investment because I have all 48 stampin Up colors. This has helped me especially if I don't have the color ink pad I need I have it in marker and I can use it to stamp my image this has also made it easier for me to decide which pads I need ASAP . Also for coloring details is wonderful and makes everything so easy.

So I bet you came today to see if you were one of the lucky winners.. So now the winners of their very own copy of Stamp It are :

Dee Tollasken and Lisa808 so if you ladies would please email me : ellie.augustin@gmail.com w/ your information I will be more then happy to mail you out your copy!

As always I thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful evening. I just received Cloudy w/a Chance of Meatball for the kids from Netflix and so we shall be watching that tonight! Stay warm :)

What a Hoot!

Hey all! I had all intention of posting yesterday but the day and chores got a hold of me and before I knew it I missed my chance at taking a picture of my card.

This card I want to share w/you is to attempt to start a little collection of cards for the men in my life. Yes Men related cards although I have made them it always seems I make and give them the day that it is needed! So this first card is actually one I would give to my oldest son.. He would get a giggle out of it cause of what the sentiment says.

Yes I used Fox & Friends YET again.. I couldn't help it Ha. Promise my next card share will not involve this set ha. Like I've mentioned before this is such a fun set and can be for any occasion.

Sorry I have to cut this short but I have to go frost some cupcakes I baked for the kids. Do come back tomorrow as I will announce the winners of my Giveaway

As always thank you so much for stopping by!
