Thanks for the Memories....

Today I wanted to let you know that I have stepped down from being a Stampin Up Demonstrator. It was a VERY VERY VERY hard decision and I had been going back and forth with it but I know it is the right thing to do for me right now.

I have lots of other things going on and right I feel like I am not being far to myself nor what Stampin Up has meant to me. So instead of waiting it out and just being dropped I said I would leave myself. Who knows when things have settled down I just might return.

I have so many amazing friends and Sistahs (you guys are the BEST EVER and I love you dearly) who I have meet because of Stampin Up how could I not love SU.

I have learned so much as well I never even dreamed of stamping 3 1/2 years ago now I can't even image not stamping each day. I learned to love the sound of that Brown truck coming down my block to bring me new goodies.

The fun of opening boxes and sitting there and mounting new stamps and sharing my list of goodies w/my sistahs and seeing all the inspiration we have shared. This is just a small part of why I have loved Stampin Up.

I want to thank you for all the support you have given me it means more then I could ever share. I have loved sharing my little creations and hearing back from you.

Now I am going to New Adventures and hope you will join me I have been posting on my other blog & if you like you can join me there. If you were only interested in the Stampin Up part of this blog well I thank you and send you the biggest HUGS! :)

Again thank you so much for making me learn how much it ROCKS to be Demo! :) SQQQUEALLLL...

Now if you want to keep up with me just come over At : scrapbookmamaof4kidz.blogspot.com and I'll catch you on the other side!

With Pain Comes Growth and Knowledge

Certain things in life make us grow and learn and for me being a Demostrator has helped me so much. I have learned that there are so many amazing and talented woman who I love dearly whom I would have never meet would it have not been for being part of the Stampin Up family.

I have learned that teaching is something I love to do. I love to be able to help someone come into my class and being so excited to share what they learned w/someone else.

I've learned that a handmade card is worth so much more and is so special and to give one is sharing a piece of yourself.

For anyone that knows me they know how much I have loved being a Stampin Up demo I love to image all I can create... Those sleepless excited nights because I know my SA Sistahs and I would be waiting for that awesome surprise Stampin Up has for us Demos... or waiting to sign up for an event.. there is nothing like it....

Although I love what I do So very much I love my Family even more... and thus this brings me to having to do something that might hurt a bit now but I know its our Lord's will because I have learned from what I have gone through in my life that everything happens for a reason...

I have decided to become a hobby demo. I will try to keep up with my qtr. sales but if not I will let it go...

My Stampin Up online store will be open until March 15th and then it will close. For my current customers I can not say what you mean to me! Of course you can email me and I will be more then happy to place your order for you and again can not say Thank you enough for not only your business but your friendships.

I also want to thank the few of you that stop by here and peek at what I might have been up to...

Like my title of my post says W/pain comes growth and knowledge and my faith will help my family and myself through what we have to because our Lord is with us. I know just as before he will walk us into where we need to be.

God Bless you and as always thank you for stopping by....

Playing Along

Happy Sunday or shall I say Happy Superbowl Sunday everyone!
Its a mini mad house here as my hubby is having his friends over for the game and well I will be hiding in my stamp cave and bedroom not a football gal really but happy to see the boys so excited today!

Well as for me I decided to play with CPS this week because I really liked this sketch its simple enough that it can be used in lots of ways I added it to my little sketch book so I can refer to it on a latter day here is CPS# 153

Isn't sweet? Talking about sweet this coming weekend it shall be Valentine's Day so my card's colors were inspired by that. This is my little card :

I wanted to keep it clean and simple. I really love how the flower(flower layers Die) came out. I used my crimper and then crunched it more for a softer effect. The Velum I ran only the bottom part so I could use my Dots folder. To hold it since you can see adhesive when you use it I decided to hold it w/some brads was going to do all 4 corners but liked this look better. What do you think? Of course I had to use some Real Red being its a Love card and all. Well I hope you enjoyed and thank you as always for stopping by!

Funny Valentine

Happy Friday my dear friends!

Well as I wait for my lunch to arrive (having Chinese takeout) I decided to get Inky w/Nicole who challenged everyone to do one of my fav. technique- Emboss Resist and since I was feeling under the weather on Tuesday to share then what a perfect way to make it up!

This card will actually be for my oldest son for Valentine's Day. He's my little artist. He actually love this technique as well so I think he will like it.

I used some bold colors don't you think but I really like how they work. I used Rich Razzleberry mixed w/Not Quite so Navy. The base stamp is the Jumbo Wheel-Very Vintage and the embossed image was the Medallion Background and the sentiment is a rub-on from Chat room and a half pearl from the Prettiest kit to finish it off. See its a Funny Valentine!

Well I hear my door bell and that means time for lunch. So hope you enjoy your day and as always thank you for stopping by!

Birthday Valentine

Hello everyone!

For today's Daily Challenge I wanted to share a card I made for a dear friend who's Bday is coming up its really close to Valentine's Day so I came up with a card to fit her perfectly.

This card actually has some fun elements. I used the Satin ribbon to make the ribbon rose as well as some of the half pearls from the prettiest kit. Now lets talk about that background. Do you love it. I DO! I can hear you say it now "Ellie but you love all things SU YES " this is true but this is really fun. That background actually came on our Clear Printed Window Sheets. The collection I used was from the Seasonal Pieces which you get (2) 12x12 sheets of some amazing images to play with.
Well I have to work on some Valentine goodies for my youngest son's class. I have an idea of what do now I have do the test run for it!
As always thank you for stopping by. I am also working on setting up some fun set up for next week because on 2/12 it will be my 2nd year Anniversary being a Demo! So of course we have to celebrate.

How about a Class By Mail?

Happy Saturday Everyone!

For the last couple of months when I have run a couple of my classes I have had emails asking if I would do a kit for it because either some live to far to attend or some can't make it when I am doing the class. For this reason I have decided to give it a try and start up myMonthly Class Kits once more. I will do 2 kits a month depending on how this month goes.

For these kits I will include all the material that are needed to complete the class (minus the stamped images) . For my first Kit I will be sharing my Cupid Class that will be taught on February 3rd and 6th.
In the class we will make 10 (4x4 cards). You will have 5 different designs and will make 2 of each. This class is $12.00.

For those of you that could not attend but would like a kit it would be $18.00 which includes materials,PDF of class and priority shipping to you. (I will be mailing in the Unites States just to make things easier & fastest shipping)

So would you like to see a peek of 2 of the cards in this class?

If you are interested in this class all you have to do click here

Shipping of these Kits will be on the 7th of February.

As always I thank you so much for stopping by! Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Less then 10 Min. Card and Winners!

Happy Friday everyone!

Hope everyone is enjoying their day. I have had a busy day. I sent out the last of my past orders. Placed new orders. Worked on samples for my February classes. Plus included my domestic/mama duties.

So after having a full day I had to reward myself w/a little stamping right? Well one of the comments suggested I do some 10 mins. or less cards. So I took the challenge. This card I like so much (and the set) that I feel I will be making a few more because it was so easy it took me WAY less then 10 minutes to complete it. I used Happy Moments which is FREE when you place a $50.00 (before s/h) I also used a go to of mine. Teeny Tiny Wishes. Anything you want to say that set has it. So I guess you want to see what I am rambling about huh?

See short and sweet and to the point. All I did was mat my stamped image on Very Vanilla. (for the score line border I just used my bone folder to go around w/my paper cutter) Are you wondering how I got the birdie colored well w/my Stampin Up Markers. Seriously for me purchasing them has been a wonderful investment because I have all 48 stampin Up colors. This has helped me especially if I don't have the color ink pad I need I have it in marker and I can use it to stamp my image this has also made it easier for me to decide which pads I need ASAP . Also for coloring details is wonderful and makes everything so easy.

So I bet you came today to see if you were one of the lucky winners.. So now the winners of their very own copy of Stamp It are :

Dee Tollasken and Lisa808 so if you ladies would please email me : ellie.augustin@gmail.com w/ your information I will be more then happy to mail you out your copy!

As always I thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful evening. I just received Cloudy w/a Chance of Meatball for the kids from Netflix and so we shall be watching that tonight! Stay warm :)

What a Hoot!

Hey all! I had all intention of posting yesterday but the day and chores got a hold of me and before I knew it I missed my chance at taking a picture of my card.

This card I want to share w/you is to attempt to start a little collection of cards for the men in my life. Yes Men related cards although I have made them it always seems I make and give them the day that it is needed! So this first card is actually one I would give to my oldest son.. He would get a giggle out of it cause of what the sentiment says.

Yes I used Fox & Friends YET again.. I couldn't help it Ha. Promise my next card share will not involve this set ha. Like I've mentioned before this is such a fun set and can be for any occasion.

Sorry I have to cut this short but I have to go frost some cupcakes I baked for the kids. Do come back tomorrow as I will announce the winners of my Giveaway

As always thank you so much for stopping by!

Look Who is Back!

Technique Tuesday that's who! I was sitting and thinking what could I do today when I said WELL I did have Tech. Tues. up for a reason right?

Since I am working on posting almost everyday why not use what I have right? Now this is gonna make you laugh. When I started stamping I had NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO clue what I was doing I still giggle because I still am learning something new everyday.

I went into the book store by the clearance section and said well there has to be something here to show me the ropes.. This is what I found :

I giggled because the samples well they look kind of old but the info was very good and this book is HUGE! So I decided to buy it and it really had helped me out. I'll use it every week when I do Tech. Tues from now on. Since there are techniques in there that I have yet to try we can do it together sound good?

So this week I start w/one of my fav techniques : Masking

This is my little card I made today it was left over stuff I had out and the size of this card is 4 1/4 x 4 1/2.

The colors of the balloons were picked by my little girl who told me "Good Color choice Mama"so that's what went with on this card! lol

I will prob. do another masking card before the week is over. After I finished this card I got another idea BUT Mama duty calls and I have to start making dinner soon. So for now I hope you like this little card and thank you so much for stopping by!

Bits and Pieces

Happy Thursday Everyone.

Sorry I didn't' post yesterday but we had to run about as one of the errands was to get Ram's cast off YEAHHH... He does have to do physical therapy for a couple of weeks but with God first he'll be to his speed (but more careful) self in no time!

For today I decided to use some of my left over goodies I have laying about (thus my post title) also play along w/this week's Cardpatterns Sketch#47

Which looks like this :

So since I have been busy cutting for my Stamp A Stamp for this coming weekend where we will be making 15 different cards I have lots of little bits and pieces and so this is what I came up. These are (2) little 3 x 41/4 cards.

Here is the first little card. These are actually pieces from my Scrapbook club that I had left over. Aren't you proud of me look I used one of the new brads! YEAH me no hoarding.. You know its actually liberating Ha..
I also used some of the new Satin ribbon available in the new Mini. TRUST me once you open a roll you want ALL the colors! (gulity as charged! lol)

Random Thought: hey would any of you want to do a ribbon share w/me for all the Satin colors?? If I get enough interest I would be happy to do so. Just leave me a comment/email saying you'd want to do a share.

Now for my 2nd card. For this card I actually used something I've had for while but hadn't used. Did you know Stampin Up has Stencils? YEAH WE DO! lol.. Look :

This stencil is HUGE!! its the size of a 8 1/2x 11 sheet so as you can see I just used the tippy top of it but I love how it looks! I plan to make some more cards w/this stencil. As my previous card I used some more ribbon but instead of a stamp for the end I used some eyelets.

These sized cards would be perfect just to tuck into someones lunch or a little thank you, don't you think? OH and before I forget do you know what today is? Its National Hug Day!! So go out there and Hug a friend or a loved one and make their day! Sending everyone hugs and thank you for stopping by!
