Call Me Betty Crocker!

Hello Everyone!

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Also Happy Father's Day to all the Dads. Our day was nice and quiet as my hubby got to sleep for almost the whole day. He needs it so I am glad he did. Well while he slept I was busy baking cookies like a mad woman I actually used Lauren's Super Duper YUMO recipe. I am no baker by any means usually I buy my cookie dough ready for me to just pop in the oven but this time about I said hmm let me try this it seems easy enough. So I went about to make a couple of batches to give as good bye treats to the some special people at the boys school. Tomorrow is my Ram's last day Isaac finished last Tues.

Here is what I made. Also I used one of Lauren's Template to put the cookies in.

Yes I made Jumbo Cookies they are YUMMOO I did a "test batch" yesterday and said OH MAN OH MAN! lol... I actually had to do another special batch just for Ram's teacher as believe it or not she is allergic to Chocolate (GASP) I for one who knows me am a true chocolate lover and would be so sad if I couldn't eat it! So hers is peanut butter and Butter Scotch.

Besides the cookies I also made another special card sets for Ram's Teacher.

Here is what the cards look like :

I made a set of six of these and this sketch I TOTALLY cased from Silkie. She had another set and I thought this Sketch would be perfect to use my New YUMO pre-order Stamp -Razzle Dazzle that will be out July first AS well as a New In Color- Rich Razzleberry hmm yeah I am loving this color and stamp set! lol..

I also made a little holder for the cards :

I know lots of Purple but Ram told me that's his teacher's fav. color :) Then to put everything together I got this little wicker bag to put everything in.

Well I've made this post long enough Hope everyone has a wonderful evening. Tomorrow is the first game of Ram's playoff's so I shall hopefully be back Tuesday with my little video tutorial. as always thank you so much for stopping by!

Papertrey Teacher Inspired Gift

Hello everyone!

These past days have been full of excitement and pride around here for this Mama as Sunday was my Oldest Son's All Star game and he ROCKED it. If you visit my rambling blog or check me out on facebook then you saw the and read about my All Star!

Today its my youngest son's turn to be center stage as today he will be graduating from Kindergarten. I can't believe that the school year is over and he is done w/Kindergarten. I remember the first day of school how I told him your going to do great and I'll be right here when you get out! How he grew and learned through out the year.. How amazing.. and Now today is already the last day.

Well I wanted to make something very special for his teacher as she has been so amazing w/him holding him and teaching and helping him grow daily.

So I had seen this project on Papertrey and I said hmmmm I think I can work w/this, and so I let my mojo loose!

This is what I came up with :

(Click on it to enlarge)

I took my Tart and Tangy and used the Apple on it. It was so much fun being able to use just that apple to let my Mojo run. I used Old Olive,Real Read,Kiwi Kiss,Riding Hood Red and Very Vanilla. I also used some Red Hiding Hood Red 1 1/4 ribbon that was in the Holiday Mini (retired) as well as Kiwi Kiss/Very Vanilla Satin ribbon, Kiwi Kiss striped ribbon to complete this project.

Included in my gift basket is :

-Journal /Pen
-Question Jar
-Clip Board
-Candles
-Card Set (of 6)

As well as a special letter for her. I really hope she likes it and sees what a wonderful influence she has been not only to my baby but to the whole class.

Well I am off as he has a half day and I need to get some things before I head out with my Sassy to go pick him up.

As always thank you so much for stopping by!

Stampin Addict Blog Hop

Welcome to your NEXT stop Port # 26 of this fun Blog Hop that was put together by one amazing Site- Stampinaddicts.com dedicated to Stampin Up.

For this Blog Hop we are paying tribute to those stamps that made us drool and work our Mojo and now we must say Bye-bye so that we are able to Welcome the New goodies that will start the Love affair all over again!

If you are here that means you were over at Port #25-Sharon's Blog and came here for more Fun... Well let's start shall we!

My Set that I am using is Illuminations and I actually used both the English and Spanish Versions

I wanted to create this project actually to give to my brother! He is one who always is looking for a card but can never find one so I thought why not make this for him.

So I made a little Card holder I thought would be prefect as he could just take it w/him and tuck it in his desk at work!

Here is a group shot of my the my little gift.

When creating this project using Illuminations I had to remember I was doing this for a guy and so I went for those beautiful In Colors we have enjoyed that are Baja Breeze and Kiwi Kiss and of course if you know me I also had to use my fav. Kraft cardstock in it too.

I wanted the cards to be simple and clean so even though I did add accessories to the cards they are still something a guy would like! lol

(click on the picture to enlarge)

As you can see this stamp set might have made you think how much can I really do but just your imagination and you can have different beautiful creations.

For my first card I made use of the Cherish stamp and scattered stamped with Versa Mark and came up with a pretty background then used my gel pen to add foe stitches to the letter C.

Next card( to the Right) I stamped the Hope stamp using the Spanish Set and added eyelets for the accent as well as my trusty Gel pen again for a simple and clean design around the card.

The next card I just made it a bit smaller and changed the position of the eyelets.

For the 4th card I did something I love to do. I paper Pieced the Letter A (this is Cherish in Spanish) and I wanted this card to pop and so I added some buttons and a little bit of the Satin Kiwi Kiss/Very Vanilla ribbon and there you have another pretty card.

If you come back next week I will be having a video on how to make the little Card Holder! I hope you have enjoyed my Blog Hop and now head on over to Port# 27 Stacy's Blog for more Blog Hop Fun where she is showcasing Big Flowers!

As always I thank you for stopping by and Enjoy your Blog Hop Weekend!
