Look Who is Back!

Technique Tuesday that's who! I was sitting and thinking what could I do today when I said WELL I did have Tech. Tues. up for a reason right?

Since I am working on posting almost everyday why not use what I have right? Now this is gonna make you laugh. When I started stamping I had NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO clue what I was doing I still giggle because I still am learning something new everyday.

I went into the book store by the clearance section and said well there has to be something here to show me the ropes.. This is what I found :

I giggled because the samples well they look kind of old but the info was very good and this book is HUGE! So I decided to buy it and it really had helped me out. I'll use it every week when I do Tech. Tues from now on. Since there are techniques in there that I have yet to try we can do it together sound good?

So this week I start w/one of my fav techniques : Masking

This is my little card I made today it was left over stuff I had out and the size of this card is 4 1/4 x 4 1/2.

The colors of the balloons were picked by my little girl who told me "Good Color choice Mama"so that's what went with on this card! lol

I will prob. do another masking card before the week is over. After I finished this card I got another idea BUT Mama duty calls and I have to start making dinner soon. So for now I hope you like this little card and thank you so much for stopping by!

In the Eyes of the Beholder

Hello everyone,

Hope you are having a wonderful week so far. So this AM when I went to check out the Sketch of the week over at Mercy she had this to play with:

Then I got this idea what if I change that square into a circle? Then I thought well this would be prefect for my Technique Tuesday.

Also how I got the title of my post today I really think sketches are a wonderful source of showing what you see when you use one. As I did with my first card!

This is one of 2 of the cards that I made inspired by this sketch :

I had fun making this card as can you believe Halloween will soon be knocking at our door! Do you see those buttons.. Those are SU you know.. YES THEY REALLY ARE... actually I got the idea from Andrea.. She took some buttons and embossed them and that's just what I did! Those buttons actually were stashed because they were from our last IN Colors well NOW they became Halloween buttons! Ha...

See my Witch's little sign that's a little twig there I made for her sign I'm working on my samples for my class and one of my albums has twigs so I just use a tiny piece for this card. I really do love this Cast-A-Spell Designer Paper it has so many beautiful prints.

Now after looking at this card I said OK let me try to make a card to match that sketch and since with 1 piece of cardstock you can get 2 cards I thought I just MUST! lol

Here is my 2nd card :

So I had left over pieces from yesterday cards and came up with this. I decided to pull out another of my stamps that I really do love, can you ever make a wrong card with this set? I THINK NOT! I embossed the flower and on the top I decided to add some dazzling diamonds. If you haven't noticed by yet with my cards YES I love my Signo Pen I just love to doodle! lol..

For this sentiment I went for my Trendy Trees (which I am using for other cards right now.. I told you I could never just stamp 1 card at a time! lol) and thought it went perfect don't you think?

Well I hope you enjoy the rest of your day and as always thank you for stopping by!

Technique Tuesday- Beary Hello!

Hey everyone...

Today's little project I wanted to share has a little technique which is created with our Color Spritzer(#1o7066) to make the "spattered look." Also included in this cute little project I decided to paper pierce as well. One of my fav. things to do!

In order to not have the little bear "spattered" in color I just stamped him and masked over and then did the spattering.
This is a little "hello gift" for a special little friend who I haven't had a chance to say hello in a while so I will be mailing it out to his mommy so she can give it to him.

Inside are sheets for him to color the bear anyway he wants! This is a super easy project to make all you need to do is cut a piece of cardstock (Ballet Blue-#100613) down to 3 1/2 x 10 and then score at 3 3/4 as well as 8 1/2 and then fold.

I then stapled on each side once I had stamped a couple of the image bear on reg. copy paper and added some Crushed Curry ribbon (#115614) used the non -polka dot side to hide where the staples are. There you have it a quick little something to make any kid smile!
As always thank you for stopping by! Don't be shy you can leave a comment I wouldn't bite promise! lol

Return of TechniqueTuesday!

Hello again everyone! I thought it was time to get back into the swing of things don't you think? So I have decided to get on the ball and start posting my "special" postings again and I thought I would start w/today Technique Tuesday.

This card was actually one of my General Swaps I made for Convention. I was going crazy w/this little card because I wanted to make it so it would be Convention worthy! lol... I think I did because this was the one gals were grabbing for and it made me very happy :)

The Technique that I am focusing today is the "Spotlighting" Technique as you can see I choose a couple of the snowman from the Hostess Level 3 Set : The More the Merrier which I LOVEE!!! It is so much fun!

It may look a little time consuming especially when you say hmm I think I will make 30 of these! lol... But really what took the longest was punching out the "spotlights" and matching them up wasn't really that hard... and I colored them in while I watched movies on Netflix! lol...

So give it a try its really a cute and fun technique that makes your card pop!

As always thank you so much for stopping by!

Also don't forget if you have been thinking of becoming a demo NOW is the time and if you sign up with my team you will get The Exclusive Stampin Up Build a Bear which includes a stamp and $25.00 in free SU goodies of your choice from me! SO don't delay! Only have 1 bear left.

All about the Technique

I have been playing allot lately with my stamps and must say that I really am enjoying this technique which is called Masking. This is going to be a quick post as I need to get some rest as tomorrow is going to be a busy day.

For this card I used my Pocket Silhouette set that is so fun to give that affect of a view from a cottage in the country.

For my next card I used one of my fav. sets which is Flores Suaves which is actually from the Spanish Stampin Up catty.. I really enjoyed making this card.

Sorry to cut it short but promise to be back with some more goodies later in the week. As always thank you for stopping by!
